CABLE TV SERVICE - General
What is my service area?
Connecticut. Within Connecticut there are several franchises and service locations. Our franchise is Branford serving the communities of Branford, E. Haven, N. Branford (Northford), Guilford, Madison, N. Haven, and Wallingford.

When I call the Cable Company the Menu asks if I am calling from home. Why?
At the time of your cable TV installation you provided the cable company with your telephone number. The cable company uses that information to direct your call to the Customer Service Call Center with information about promotions, services, and community representation information specific to where you live (the Branford Franchise area). Promotions, services, community representation, and fees vary by franchise area.

Installation includes what services, exactly?
Installation varies by service purchased, the number of services requested, and cable-readiness of your television. The adult at the home at the time of installation must be satisfied with the television quality before the technician leaves. Everything should be resolved or a follow-up appointment scheduled before the technician leaves.

Why can’t I just get the channels I want to view?
Cable operators select channels to appeal to a broad spectrum of viewers. These channels are put together in programming packages designed to offer a wide variety of choices in a cost effective way. If you want more information on this topic including current legislative initiatives or contact us:
